It may not be for everyone, Tack is
after all the biker boss to end all biker bosses, rude, bossy, swears a lot,
has a short fuse, drinks tequila like it is water, and eats more pork than one
man should. But he is a man, who loves life and enjoys it.
Tyra, is careful, has a take out night, does yoga, drinks
green tea, but is still kick-ass and feisty.
They have a bumpy start, but once Tack realises who Tyra is
as a person, he is determined to have her, and make her live her life. He may
be all the things we see at the start of the book, but as it goes on, and we
get to know his past, and how he is as he is, you can understand how he is so
much more. He is so loving and it is obvious how much Tyra means to him and how
much he wants her to mean to him.
Love love love, probably my favourite of this series.
What I love about a Kristen Ashley
hero is that they may be complete dickheads but, somehow, they know when they
fall in love, when they have something special, they claim that woman and they
go all out to let the world know that she is their's and to protect her. It
gives me the warm and fuzzies. I don't care how un-PC that is, I just love it.
Tyra is a great heroine - she's honest, sweet, vulnerable yet
also tough as nails and nothing will hold her back from protecting and defending
the people she cares about. Tack is more of the same and then some.
I also loved the whole badass biker MC vibe, the Brotherhood
- I'm so glad that there's going to be a new series revolving around Chaos.
Bring it on. I loved their tattoos and their sweet touching moments. It was all
good.
BUT - KA you have raised the bar exponentially here.
